Prerequisites: Not open to students who have passed ME 3295 or MEM 3295 when offered as Six Sigma Green Belt / Minitab.

Grading Basis: Graded

Introduces Lean and Six Sigma methods for quality and process improvement using data-driven analysis. Topics include DMAIC, Lean tools, and computational data analysis for process monitoring, root-cause identification, and improvement evaluation. Students use modern analytical software (e.g., Minitab and Python-based tools) to analyze real process data and develop decision-support recommendations for manufacturing and service systems.
