Theory, design and performance of centrifugal and axial flow machinery including turbines, blowers, fans, compressors, superchargers, pumps, fluid couplings and torque converters. A detailed study of the mechanics of the transfer of energy between a fluid and a rotor. Preparation for practical design of turbomachinery.
