3237. Fundamentals of Environmentally Sustainable Aviation

Prerequisites: ME 2250, and ME 2232 or ME 2234. Not open for credit to students who have passed ME 3295 when offered as "Fundamentals of Environmentally Sustainable Aviation."

Grading Basis: Graded

Provides students with a fundamental understanding of what constitutes an environmentally sustainable aviation. The main focus of the course is on technology-based solutions, however, measures in air traffic management, market-based methods, life-cycle approaches and renewable fuels are also covered.
