2150. Devising Theatre for Social Justice I

Making theatre without a pre-written script to address a social justice topic of interest, moving from initial stimulus to concluding performance. Students will center a contemporary issue of social justice while developing theatre making skills, emphasizing collaborative co-creation, small group work, and the development and presentation of a range of performance forms. May be repeated for up to six credits with a change in content.
