Prerequisites: GERM 1002 or two years of high school German. May not be taken out of sequence after passing GERM 1004. May not be taken for credit after passing any 2000-level or above course taught in German.

Further development of communicative abilities and intercultural competence by investigating topics such as contemporary politics, the environment, history, film, music, fine arts, literature, and technology.
