Introduction to the Earth Sciences emphasizing human activities as agents of geologic change in our current epoch, the Anthropocene. Understanding how the Earth works as a system, what its history has been, and how we can use this knowledge to provide the frame for contemporary environmental issues such as climate change, sustainability, mass extinctions, land use, natural resources, and waste disposal.
