Prerequisites: COMM 2700, or COMM 2300 and COMM 2600. Not open for credit to students who have passed COMM 4998 when offered as "Multimedia Storytelling."

Grading Basis: Graded

Principles of effective storytelling in multimedia contexts. Examination of storytelling as a communicative process that shapes identity, relationships, and culture. Review of various multimedia formats and their affordances for creating unique and impactful narratives. Students create multimedia content informed by narrative theory and media-based storytelling best practices.
